celebrities that are a great inspirations to the plus size world of
fashion and Acting, not only are they plus size they are very successful
beautiful women. They show you that the most important beauty comes
from within you. Everything else is just an additional.
Ashley Graham
Ashley is one of the top plus size models out there. She was born in 1988 in Lincoln , Nebraska, best known as a lingerie model for Lane Bryant plus size clothing store. She has appeared in fashion magazines such as Vogue and Latina.
Kim Coles
She is a very well known actress, comedian, author and host. She has appeared on many television shows and has published her book called “I’m Free But It Will Cost You.” What really caught my attention about this wonderful person isher new program called G.I.F.T.S (Gratitude, Intention, Forgiveness, Triumphs, Self-Love), a project that helps people identify and express their gifts, emotions, opinions with the world.
Kirsten Vangsness
She is an actress in one of my favorite TV drama series Criminal Minds. She plays the role of FBI Technical Analyst Penelope Garcia. Kirsten is also currently appearing in Bill Robens’ Kill Me, Deadly.
Dana Elaine Owens
AKA Queen Latifah she is considered “Americas Rap’s first lady”. She is not only a successful rapper she is also a great actress. I consider her to be a great role model for young women.
Jill Scott
An amazing soul and R&B singer and song writer, actress, and poet. She played a role in Houndog as “Big Mama Thornton” and in the Tyler Perry’s movie why did “I get Married.” She has won three Grammy Awards for her work.
Brooke Elliott
She is best know for her role in another of my favorite shows “Drop Dead Diva,”. she has also appeared in many broadway shows such as "Beauty and the beast", "Taboo", and "Wicked".
Maggie Yumi Brown
She started on “Tyra’s Thick and Sexy Top Model Contest,” where she won and since then featured in many magazine covers like in Bombshell Magazine and Plus Model Magazine.
Loretta Devine
She Started her acting career in Broadway. She is very well known and has won the hearts of many with her charm. She has always been a curvaceous woman, but that has never bothered her she is definitely proud and confident about her image.
Sara Ramirez
She is one of the stars on ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy. She is both an actress and singer who talents have won the hearts of many fans.
Mo’Nique
She is the woman who “redefined F.A.T., (Fabulous And Thick),” to me she is one of the biggest role model for young girls and women everywhere. She is not only an great comedian, but also a great actress.
These ten beautiful women prove that true beauty comes in all shapes and sizes. Women should feel happy and comfortable in their own skin and you can with self-confidence and determination.
